For true flexibility, the customised workspace can be accessed online, allowing you to monitor and manage your business in real-time, from anywhere.

Consumers can also access Active Reports, which are fully featured, highly interactive offline report applications. This allows consumers to explore business information without having to rely on network connectivity – ideal for the travelling executive.

Business Intelligence includes powerful tools for internal collaboration too.

Users can add comments and questions to documents, create threaded discussions and embed RSS feeds to automatically share reports and updates, such as recent sales orders.

Sophisticated but easy-to-use scheduling capabilities also make distributing reports to people outside your company simple.

Understanding your data

Data Intelligence makes it easy for your staff to extract and present data in a range of Pronto and non-Pronto formats. Data tables can be filtered, sorted and highlighted to suit individual needs, and, if necessary, exported to non-Pronto formats such as XML, Comma Separated Value (CSV) and Microsoft Office Excel.

Data Intelligence also includes a range of tools to help you find and secure information within your data tables.

A Data Finder will allow you to search for a particular value across multiple tables, while a Table Security tool offers protection for valuable data by specifying who can access which tables.

Setting your own limits

To ensure your Business Intelligence suite provides the right information to the right people within your organisation, your IT administrators have complete flexibility to set access controls and user capabilities. These include usernames, passwords and reporting roles, as well as system settings such as report date ranges, server setup and data source controls.
