This Statement applies for Pronto Software Limited (ACN 001 337 248), Pronto Cloud Pty Ltd (ACN 101 504 278), their affiliates and related bodies corporate (collectively, Pronto Software)
Serving customers and stakeholders efficiently and securely is very important toPronto Software. Pronto Software recognises that people care about how their private information is collected and used. Pronto Software abides by the following privacy principles, and the privacy requirements, legislation and applicable data protection laws of each country within which we operate. This statement does not include requirements of the European Union General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), which are addressed separately.

In order to provide services to customers, and interact with employees, suppliers and contractors, Pronto Software may collect personal information relevant to the nature of the person’s relationship or role with Pronto Software.

Pronto Software does not consider personal information to include information that has been anonymised or aggregated so that it can no longer be used to identify a specific natural person, whether in combination with other information or otherwise.
Pronto Software may collect personal information from you and other sources when you use Pronto Software applications and services.
Users of Pronto applications or services
As a user of Pronto Software applications or services, Pronto Software may record information including your name, the customer you are associated with, contact details, views expressed through forums or blogs, training and events that you participate in with Pronto Software. This information is used to identify you as a user within Pronto Software applications, to provide user technical support, training or other resources, and to interact with you about your use of Pronto Software products and services.
As an employee or contractor of Pronto Software and its related entities, Pronto Software will maintain personal information in relation to your employment or service relationship with Pronto Software, including Information related to pre-employment and post-employment checks as required for particular roles. These checks could involve the collection of sensitive information from organisational screening processes like criminal record checks, education credential checks, bankruptcy checks and other checks deemed appropriate by Pronto Software.
As an employee, contractor, or entity linked to a Reseller or member of the Pronto Software community ecosystem that services and supports Pronto Software applications or services, Pronto Software may collect and hold information including your name, the organisation you are associated with, contact details, views expressed through forums or blogs, qualifications, training and events that you participate in with Pronto Software.
Prospective customers and their staff
As a prospective user of Pronto Software applications or services Pronto Software may record information including your name, the prospective customer you are associated with, and contact details. This information is used to identify you as a potential user and person associated with a prospective customer and to understand our potential customers and their needs for Pronto Software applications and services.
Information collected through Pronto Software’s ‘Partner Ecosystem’ may be shared with designated solution partners.
Customer data
Where Pronto Software is exposed to any personal information contained within customer data, through the provision of support or consulting services or otherwise, via image capture or other mechanisms, that personal information will be treated as being highly confidential, will only be used strictly to the extent needed to provide those services, and then will not be retained by Pronto Software.
How Pronto Software collects and holds personal information
Pronto Software may collect information through web or document forms, by telephone conversations, on-line conferencing, emails or social media. Pronto Software may use cookies in some Pronto Software websites to store your preferences and settings and help with sign-in. Pronto Software may also collect personal information that is contained on public records such as corporate registers, or in private databases compiled from either directly seeking personal information from you with your consent or sourced from public record.
The purposes for which Pronto Software collects, holds, uses and discloses personal information
Depending on your relationship with Pronto Software, personal information may be collected from you to market to you, provide products or services to you, educate, train or support use of Pronto Software applications or services, or to deploy you as a resource to deliver service.
Where personal information is used for direct marketing, Pronto Software will only use personal information that you would reasonably expect Pronto Software to use for this purpose. A person may request in email or writing to the contact details below not to receive direct marketing communications from Pronto Software.
If you do not provide complete personal information, Pronto Software may not be able to provide products or services to you as effectively as if more complete information was provided.

Pronto Software respects your right to access, correct, request deletion or request restriction of our usage of your personal information as required by applicable law. Pronto Software also takes steps to ensure that the personal information collected is accurate and up to date.

By making a request in writing to the Privacy Officer you can access any of your personal information (if any) that we may hold.
How do we store and protect your data
Pronto Software protects your personal information using technical and administrative security measures to reduce the risks of loss, misuse, unauthorised access, disclosure and alteration. Some of the safeguards Pronto Software uses are firewalls and data encryption, physical access controls to our data centres, and information access authorisation controls.
How you may complain about a breach of these privacy principles and how Pronto Software will deal with such a complaint
If you wish to make a complaint regarding a potential a breach of privacy principles, please do so in writing to the Privacy Officer whose details are set out below. Pronto Software will endeavour to respond in a timely manner, investigate, rectify the matter quickly, and confirm actions in writing where practical and appropriate.
Whether Pronto Software is likely to disclose personal information to overseas recipients
Information collected in one country may be shared with Pronto Software offices or directly contracted service providers such as administration, marketing or technology services in another country where it relates to the normal commercial conduct of our business. We take steps to ensure that those entities abide by fair information principles that are similar to those imposed in Australia or the USA.

Pronto Software will do its best to keep your personal information accurate, complete and up to date. You can help Pronto Software with this by advising whether you believe that any of the information Pronto Software holds is incomplete or inaccurate.
