Pronto Software has a long history of carrying out business in an ethical and responsible manner – this includes positively contributing to local communities and charities. All staff donations to a recognised charitable institution are matched by the business – and this leads to a strong mix of incredible causes being supported.Over the years, corporate initiatives have seen the team contribute money and time towards the inspirational efforts of charities such as Room to Read, Variety Children’s Charity, Beyond Blue, Alzheimer’s Australia, Cancer Council, St Vincent de Paul, Movember, RSPCA, Wildlife Victoria and Children First Foundation. Every call for support is an opportunity to make a difference.
In the spirit of the season, on behalf of all employees and associates, Pronto Software has donated $15,000 to the Children First Foundation. The gift enables life-changing medical attention for children from backgrounds where this type of care is out of reach.
Pete Moreny from the Brisbane team, is adding his facial hair to the Movember campaign again this year – in an effort to raise awareness for men’s health. Pete said “I’ve been supporting this fundraiser for 17 years now and recently had to call on their resources for support.”
The Brisbane team put together another delicious morning tea in support for Day for Daniel organised by the Daniel Morcombe Foundation. Day for Daniel is Australia’s largest day of action to raise awareness of child safety, protection and harm prevention.
The team at Pronto Software Brisbane branch held a morning tea this week for RSPCA Cupcake Day. Their delicious baked goods and fund raising efforts will go towards supporting the RSPCA in their dedication to rescuing, treating and rehoming thousands of animals each year.
Stefan Crisp from our Melbourne branch took part in the Run Melbourne 5k alongside his son to help raise much needed funds for Motor Neuron Disease (MND). Stefan explained, “This is my son’s first charity run & he is over the moon about the amount of money raised.”
Jonathan Sage and Chris Ebbs from the Pronto Software Sydney team are jumping in to join the challenge of this year’s Oxfam Trailwalker. As a team, called ‘Blister Busters’, they will be walking 100km. The Oxfam Trailwalker helps to raise vital funds to support those who live in poverty.
Pronto Software’s Queensland Branch is a team with a big heart, coming together to support some incredible charities. They have held a special fund raising morning tea for the 2023 Purple Day – an initiative supported by Epilepsy Queensland & The Salvation Army.
On Friday 21 July, Marie Longworth, Dana Collier, Bronwyn Howard & Kylie York from Pronto Software Queensland, NT & PNG Branch will participate in the 2023 Brisbane Coastrek 30km event to raise much needed funds for The Heart Foundation.
